New Delhi : Olympian Achanta Sharath Kamal clinched his second successive international title after stunning top seed Li Ching of Hong Kong 4-0 in the final of the Egypt Open table tennis championships in Cairo today.
Sixth seed and world number 76, Sharath, who won the US Open crown at Michigan earlier this month, was at his dominating best as the Indian didn't give his rival any chance in his 11-7, 11-9, 11-8, 11-4 victory.
Sharath and Ching had met twice previously in world ranking events and on both occasions the Hong Kong player had won comfortably.
In December 2005 in the first stage of the Asian Cup, Li Ching won in four games, while in February 2009, he beat the Indian in straight games at the Salwa Cup Kuwait Open.
