 Mumbai: With an aim to cater to the Indian MICE clientele, Mumbai-based Travelmartindia (TMI) is in the process of launching a dedicated book for this segment called 'Vow Vith Virgin' showcasing 22 destinations worldwide and their offerings, including different price points and requirements.
The company has partnered with tourism boards of Jordan, Egypt, Stuttgart, Saxony and the European Quartet, as well as hotel companies like Starwood Hotels, Marriott International and Apavou Hotels to showcase their offerings in the book. The company is going to launch this book on July 2, 2010 in Mumbai. In order to promote this book among corporates, the company will invite 200 corporates across various industries and make visual presentations to them, showcasing each destination.
Speaking exclusively with reporters about the developments, Maureen D'souza, Vice President- MICE Business Development, TMI said, "The book will inform corporates about the latest trends in the MICE segment. It will offer an overview of the 22 destinations highlighted, as well as give information about the must see attractions and niche offerings. MICE is a growing segment for our company and we aim to utilise our past experiences while working in this segment to help the corporates with new offerings. The primary objective of this initiative is to highlight new destinations to the Indian MICE segment. The company will market the product through direct sales."
