Shillong: Meghalaya assembly on Jun 11 passed Meghalaya Appropriation Bill of over Rs 4970.24 crore to authorise payment and appropriation from and out of the Consolidated Fund of Meghalaya for 2010.
The bill meant to pay several charges, which would come in the course of payment during the year ending March 31, 2011 was introduced by Meghalaya Chief Minister Mukul Sangma and passed by voice vote on the last day of the budget session.
