 She may be the face of many cosmetic brands but Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor says she looks best sans make-up. The actress, who will next be seen with ex-beau Shahid Kapoor in long-delayed 'Milenge Milenge', will feature on the cover of People Magazine's 'India's Most Beautiful' issue without make-up.
"Beauty lies in naturalness and not in fake eyelashes and coloured lipsticks," Kareena told reporters at the launch of the magazine at the IIFA Weekend here.
The 30-year-old star who looked beautiful in a peach coloured dress said she has never been a "make up person". "Feeling happy; goes hand in hand with looking good. Being stressed and unhappy affects hair, skin and eyes. To be well turned out, you have to be in a happy mood," she said. Kareena attributed her flawless skin to being a vegetarian.
"I believe that 'you are what you eat' which is why I don't eat meat. Your stomach is not a grave yard. I gave up meat five years ago and I can feel the difference. My skin is glowing and I drink ten glasses of water every day," she said. Apart from Kareena, Twinkle Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Asin and Genelia also feature in the issue.
