Agartala: The seven-day budget session of Tripura Assembly began on Jun 11 in two phases wherein Finance Minister Badal Choudhury would present the full fledged budget for 2010-11 fiscal.
The Assembly secretariat said the session started with Question Hour followed by legislative business and in the afternoon the budget would be placed in the House. The four-day session would continue till June 16 and discussion on budget would begin on June 29.
Meanwhile, opposition Congress announced that they would raise the issues of the government's alleged failure on various issues and corruption, especially the ginger scam, siphoning of development project fund, corruption at institutional level and government's failure to take action against Non Banking Financial Institutions (NBFI).
