Agartala: Two hardcore militants of the All Tripura Tiger Force (ATTF) and National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT) surrendered before Assam Rifles (AR) in separate locations of West and Dhalai districts.
Police on May 21st said ATTF frontliner Miren Debbarma of Mandai on the eastern border of Agartala surrendered before the 35th Battalion on May 20 at Chakma Para AR camp without arms and ammunition and he was brought for interrogation. In another incident, NLFT extremist Devendra Reang of Chawmanu under Dhalai district surrendered before 14th Battalion of the AR without arms and ammunition and was interrogated later.
