Visakhapatnam: A free yoga training camp would be conducted by Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) in association with Patanjali Yogapeeth, Haridwar. The camp would offer batch wise training with a duration of three weeks and interested could join in the next batches also. The Vice Chairman of VUDA, B Sreedhar said.
VUDA so far has been organising cultural events to extend healthy entertainment and now taken the initiative for the health concern of people in Visakhapatnam.
According to a report, Yoga Sikshaks Susheel Kumar Sekhani and Verma would extend the training in yogasanas and other related techniques to keep up the health. Special training will also be given based on diseases, especially Diabetes, BP, Arthritis etc. The camp will be conducted at VUDA Children Theatre every day from 5:30 am to 7:00 am. There is no age limit to join the training programme and open to all. The members of VUDA Children Club along with their parents and employees are specially invited to join.
