Guntur : Krishnur line new polished and unpolished urad along remained steady on thin trading activities from traders and millers in the Guntur pulses market on May 10.
However, Burma urad SQ variety of Chennai also stayed steady on dull demand as traders and millers prefer to buy polished urad, cheaper than the imported urad. Regular arrivals of 5,000 bags were reported.
At Vijaywada market, Polished and unpolished urad also offered steady to Rs 5,300 and Rs 5,200 per quintal respectively on quiet trade and regular arrivals of 5,000 bags. Meanwhile processed urad both branded and non-branded quoted steady on limited trade.
