 One of the leading mobile phone makers in the world, Samsung has recently launched 5 new mobile phones in the Indian market and also has announced Bollywood super star Aamir Khan as its Brand Ambassador. Company officials have informed that the new phones are named Samsung SGH-i450, SGH-G800, i550, D880, J210 and all the phones are equipped with brilliant features.
President & CEO, Samsung South West Asia Headquarters, Mr. H. B. Lee, talking about choosing Aamir Khan as the company`s Brand Ambassador said, "The Samsung brand stands for qualities of innovation, change, discovery, self-expression and excellence in performance. And these very same qualities are epitomized by Aamir Khan, whose quality and depth of work as well as versatility as an actor, have made him a much loved and respected actor in India today. We are indeed very proud and privileged to have him as our Brand Ambassador".
When enquired about the basic features of the new mobile phones from Samsung, one of the top officials of the company said that the new Samsung i450 is coming with an objective to provide users a Mobile Theater experience. The official further added that the mobile is bringing the experience of 3D surround sound alive, powered by the ICE Power amplifiers by Bang & Olufsen. He also said that the phone is also making use of the Music wheel and is coming with the Dual-Slider form factor. The official also described salient features of the new Samsung G800 mobile phone and said that it is equipped with a powerful 5 mega pixel camera. Informing that the phone also has a 3x optical zoom, the official said that it is equipped with face detection, Xenon flash and Wide Dynamic Range (WDR).
The representative was also talking about the other mobile phones that Samsung had launched recently and said that the new Samsung i550 phone will address requirements of the business consumers. He said that the phone is powered by the Symbian S60 operating system, and it is coming with an in-built GPS Receiver and five hot keys, that can be used for music, camera, navigation, internet and main menu. There is also a 3 mega pixel camera included in this phone and it supports Bluetooth audio streaming as well. He further talked about the new Samsung D880 mobile and said that it is a Dual GSM SIM phone that is arriving with a 3.2 Mega Pixel Camera, a 2.3-inch Wide LCD screen, Bluetooth support and also a Stereo FM radio. While talking about the last phone on the lot, Samsung J210, the official said that it possesses features like- 2 mega pixel camera with FM recording, microSD memory card expansion and also supports Bluetooth music streaming (A2DP profile). The representative further informed that the company is going to make all the phones available in stores within next week.
