Almond Cakes, The `King Of Cakes`The people around the world are huge fans of numerous types of cakes and they are also quite enthusiastic of trying to make their own varieties of cakes in their home. There are a countless number of cake varieties available in the world and the tasty, scrumptious and appetizing Almond Cake is definitely one of the best among them. The cake is so much popular among the cake lovers that some of them even term it as the `King of Cakes`. The cake is also quite a healthy one to eat and it does not take that much of time to be prepared.

According to one of the top class food experts, associated with a premium restaurant, the making procedure of Almond Cake is quite an easy one and the people can make the cake in their home, without much difficulty. The expert said that usually the cake is served after making a number of 28 small cookie size cakes and it also needs only a few ingredients to make the cake. The expert said that the main ingredients that are required for making the Almond Cake include 2 cups blanched almonds, 1 1/3 cups sugar, 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon rose water (optional), 3 egg whites and the Vegetable cooking spray.

While describing the method for making Almond Cake, the expert said that one should first place the almonds in food processor, and process them until they are finely ground. The next step is to add some sugar and flour to them and process until they are nicely blended. Adding rose water and egg whites and processing them until they are well-blended (the mixture will be very thick), is the next step and then one should shape the dough into 28 balls, and place 2 inches apart on baking sheets coated with cooking spray, with floured hands. The final part of the preparing procedure is to bake the mixture at 325 degrees for 28 minutes or until there is crisp on the outside and soft on the inside and then cool on racks.
