 Mumbai : Honda's India bike unit said on Mar 9 it would build a second production plant in India with an annual capacity of 600,000 units for a total investment of Rs 470 crore ($103 million).
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt Ltd said the new plant would become operational from the second half of 2011. It also said it was expanding its existing capacity to 1.55 million units by the end of this month from the current 1.25 million units.
