Yatra.com associates with Tyroo for selling designated advertising space

Mumbai : Yatra.com has tied up with Tyroo, a global advertising network funded by Yahoo, which will allow Tyroo to exclusively promote and sell designated advertising space on Yatra.com to interested companies in India and overseas.

Tyroo will be responsible for sales on Yatra.com website to interested parties in India and overseas and will receive exclusivity for designated advertisement space during the term of this association with Yatra.com. Tyroo in return will receive commission for the space sold.

Speaking on the alliance, Pratik Mazumder, Head Marketing and Strategic Relations, Yatra.com said, "In this new world of technology, online marketing and advertising are the buzz words and it's a privilege for us to join hands with Tyroo for this online advertising engagement. Yatra.com had opened its website for advertising last year and some of the top advertisers like Nokia, Airtel, Citibank, HP, ICICI, Reliance Communications, Tata Indicom, Hyundai i20, Mahindra Xylo, Fiat Linea, and Maruti Suzuki have advertised on the website during the year.
