 TVS Motor Company Ltd on Feb 16 announced the launch of the 110cc clutch-less TVS Jive in the State. The company expects this offering to help them step up market share in the State from 23 to 26 per cent.
The General Manager (Sales) of TVS Motor, Mr J.S. Srinivasan, said: "About 65,000 bikes are sold every month in Andhra Pradesh, where TVS accounts for a market share of 23 per cent. With the launch of this new bike, with a host of comfort features, we expect to expand up to 26 per cent." The bike costs Rs 41,000 ex-showroom. The company sees this segment expanding. TVS Motor expects to sell about 3,000 Jives a month. The bike features a new technology that helps the rider reach the neutral gear while cruising in the top gear. The bike can be started from any gear position.
