In her own words, it's one of the most exciting times of her career. She's even shifting base to Mumbai shortly, which is why she's in and out of hazaar meetings.
And now, we hear that actress-composer Shruti Haasan will add a new dimension to her career by lending her voice to the Puneet Rajkumar-starrer, Prithvi. "Really? This is news to me. Thanks for telling me," laughs a surprised Shruti. The trade circuit too is abuzz with the news that she's all set to be part of Prithvi and will be on board the project soon. "I'm not aware of this. Enquiries must've come in and they may be following up with my team. I'm travelling a lot these days, so I've no clue about it. I haven't confirmed anything," she tells us. But Shruti doesn't rule out the possibility of her doing the project if she's officially approached for it. "If it's exciting, then why not? I'd love to do a Kannada film," she tells us.
Also, not many people know that if Shruti agrees to sing in Prithvi, it won't be her first Kannada song. "I have worked on the Kannada version of a song from Hey Ram with dad earlier, and enjoyed doing it," she says. So has she liked any Kannada song lately? "Not many, but I know Raghu Dixit is composing some great tunes. It would also be nice to work on a full-fledged Kannada movie as a composer," says Shruti, who'd even like to star in a Sandalwood flick someday.
