Pre-owned car-seller, Mahindra First Choice Wheels Ltd, is planning to launch service facility at its dealer outlets soon.
"We will be launching an initiative called `2 S' (sales and service) which combines sales and services at our outlets,'' Mr Shubhabrata Saha, Chief Executive Officer, Mahindra First Choice, told reporters after inaugurating two authorised dealerships here on Feb 17.
The launch of service at its outlets (currently 115) would help the customers after purchasing the cars, besides providing additional source of revenue for the dealers, he added.
As part of it transparency efforts, the company would also be launching a new mathematical pricing model on its portal soon.
"With this one can know the selling price of one's car. If you provide some details like model/mileage, the price to be offered would be displayed immediately,'' he said.
Mahindra First Choice is also expecting to sell over 18,000 cars across the country in the current fiscal year. Last year, it sold over 15,000 vehicles.
The market size of pre-owned vehicles is more or less equivalent to that of new vehicles. "About 1.7 million new units/vehicles are sold per annum. This also shows the potential market for pre-owned vehicles,'' Mr Saha added.
