 New Delhi : German carrier, Lufthansa has cancelled its 13 flights from India in the wake of a five-day strike called by their pilots' union.
"Out of 52 flights, in a week, 13 Lufthansa flights out of Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and Bangalore to Frankfurt and Munich have been cancelled for a period of five-days that is from February 22 to 25" an airlines spokesperson said.
Lufthansa (LH) directly operates around 52 flights in a week out of India, but it has an alliance with Swiss and Austrian airlines which operates 11 and 05 flights respectively.
The German airline has also a code-share agreement with India's national carrier, Air India which operates around 14 flights in a week.
