DJ Nemesis says he cannot bear Indi-pop

Yes, that's when DJ Nemesis, who is from Belgium, takes over the console. Nemesis aka Bert DE Decke, who played at Cibo recently, says, "Delhi closes quite early and I can't play for long hours here. I like to start playing at midnight and then go on till four in the morning."

And why is that so, we asked. "For, the music I play is psychedelic and Goa Trance, which can be best enjoyed post midnight," he says. This is his first trip to India and he's already been around the city and even made plans to visit Goa soon. "I've been to the Red Fort, the mosques and also to Connaught Place," he says. As for Goa, he says, "I am excited about being there. After all, I call my kind of music, Goa Trance." And does he like Indian music? "Yes, I do. I use Indian women vocalists in my music too. But, I can't stand Indi-pop and Punjabi remixes," he says, adding, "I've seen a couple of Bollywood movies."
