Orbit Solar, Hyderabad, has come up with solar-powered fences to protect crops and property from domestic and wild animals, according to a report.
A high-voltage electrical pulse is transmitted through the wires of the fences and it consumes a largish amount of electricity, which can be saved by powering it with solar energy.
