Itanagar : Villagers in Arunachal Pradesh will soon have the same infrastructure as those available in metros, Union Minister of state for Communication and IT Sachin Pilot said here on Feb 2.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress chief Sonia Gandhi have made sure that there was no shortage of funds for the rapid development of the border state, Pilot said while laying the foundation of the Head Post Office building here.
Stating that central ministers will continue to visit the state to monitor development schemes, Pilot said, he would visit border areas on Feb 3 to oversee work on providing the best postal and mobile communication services. Quality postal services with e-money order, e-payment facilities will be provided to all important towns in the state by upgrading and opening post offices, the minister said.
