Mumbai : According to a report, New Delhi-based Shervani Hospitalities, which currently runs three hotels in the country, recently said that it is looking at opening five to six hotels in the next three years, primarily in the Northern region.
As part of its expansion plans, the company is looking at opting for the franchise route and take the total number of hotels to around 13 across the country in the next three years. Saeed Shervani, Managing Director, Shervani Hospitalities said, "We would like to expand our presence in the country. For that we are looking at the franchise route as it is one of the best ways to do it. Currently we are scouting for locations to open five-six hotels in the next three years, most of them in Northern India. If there is an opportunity in the South we would like to open a hotel there as well." However, he did not disclose the kind of investment the company is likely to make for the expansion plan.
