Mumbai : The Information and Broadcasting Ministry has issued a show cause notice to Sony Entertainment Television for its reality show `Entertainment ke liye aur kuch bhi karega'.
The I&B Ministry is irked with the channel for showing an act where a person puts a snake through one of his nostrils and removes it from his mouth and then again puts it in his mouth and removes it from his nostrils. This act was shown on September 14. The channel has been given 15 days to respond to the notice.
The notice said that the visuals of the programme appear to be offensive and not in good taste. It also shows cruelty to snakes and may lead other viewers to try these tricks. This can also affect young children and such acts are not suitable for unrestricted public exhibition. `Entertainment ke liye aur kuch bhi karega' recently went off air with its second season.
