 Mumbai: Samsung India introduces its new range of advanced, stylish, and compact digital still cameras for the Indian market. The new line up comprises 8 models including Samsung WB500.
The 10.2-megapixel WB500 offers ultra-wide 24mm Schneider lens with 10x optical zoom. It has several manual controls, including the ability to adjust shutter speed, aperture, exposure, and focus. The camera has both Optical and Digital Image Stabilisation. Also, it can capture video in 720p high-definition at 30 frames-per-second (fps), and the user can video for a longer period because of H.264 compression.
The WB500s face detection technology detects faces and automatically adjusts focus and exposure Samsung WB500 is priced at Rs 19,990.
In the latest range it also includes 10.2 megapixel Samsung PL60, which is priced at Rs. 12,490. And in the 12.2 megapixel category, Samsung introduced the PL65 and the ST50. And the entry level digital still cameras include ES10 and ES55 priced at Rs 7,990 and Rs 6,990, respectively.
