Mumbai: Panasonic is planning to launch the Panasonic Micro Lumix GF1 Micro Four Thirds camera.
This one is slim, possibly a little smaller and in its own way, just as stylish. It has the option to shoot HD video (720p at a guess) in AVCHD format, plus a rumoured pop-up flash.
The Panasonic Lumix GF1 Micro Four Thirds has a similar size to the Olympus EP1, as users can see in this comparison thought. It may also include a flash, and a special movie record button to capture 720p video in AVCHD format.
There also seems to be a slot for an external viewfinder (EVF) just below the hot-shoe on top of the camera. Rumored specifications include a 13.1-megapixel sensor, with 720p 30fps HD video recording and up to 1/4000s shutter speed. The LCD is tipped to be 3-inches and 460k pixels.
