Nokia introduces N86 phone in India

Mumbai: Nokia has launched its best imaging device, the Nokia N86 8MP in the Indian market. The camera of the phone comes with a wide-angle Carl Zeiss Tessar optics, which is comparable to a standalone digital camera.

The new phone is designed to excel in both bright and low light conditions and is optimised for video and still imaging. It features high-speed connectivity ensuring easy and convenient sharing. The Nokia N86 8MP is available across the country in two attractive colours of Indigo Black and White, at an MRP of Rs. 27359.

Vineet Taneja, Director Marketing, Nokia India said, “People might not always carry their digital camera in their pocket, but they do take their mobile device with them wherever they go. With its wide-angle Carl Zeiss Tessar lens for beautiful wide vistas and 8 megapixel sensor, the Nokia N86 8MP ensures that those impromptu photo opportunities are never again missed.”

He added, “Moreover, people demand mobile cameras that take excellent pictures in all light conditions. That’s why the aperture of the Nokia N86 8MP is comparable to that of a high-quality, stand-alone digital camera. Whether it’s catching the monsoons in full spate or capturing the panoramic beauty of a sunrise, the Nokia N86 8MP will take brilliantly clear, wide-angle images that are instantly location tagged to be uploaded onto online sites and communities.”

Users can take photographs of fast-moving targets like pets or kids as the fast mechanical shutter and the Automatic Motion Blur Reduction of the Nokia N86 8MP ensures shorter latencies and less motion blur.

Processing times between pictures has been more than halved in comparison with many other camera phones. This includes a wide-angle lens for panoramic pictures, shorter latencies and variable aperture for super sharp photos in challenging bright and low light conditions. The fast mechanical shutter of the N86 8MP offers pictures with less motion blur whereas the dual LED camera flash enables excellent photography and video capture, even in brighter and darker conditions than before.

The Nokia N86 offers a popular dual-slide design with 8GB of internal memory that can hold up to 4,000 images as well as easy photo management software to organize photos by albums and tags.
