Neena Kahlon, who grew up among real life survivors of this unprecedented clash of Muslims, Hindus and Sikhs has come up with her book Remembering the Juice Mango.

She was born and raised in Amritsar, Neena Kahlon (alias Neena Sarkaria) graduated with a Masters in English Literature from Punjab University, Chandigarh.

The book is a celebration of life. It is a story of survival and hope for those, who like Ratna, are forgotten after being branded ‘collateral damage’ in various human conflicts. It is a saga of love across three generations, a love so powerful that it transcends all human tragedies.
