Mumbai: Contiloe Telefilms, which is producing the show ‘Rani Lakshmi Bai’ to sir on Zee TV, has now signed the veteran actress Aroona Irani for the show.

The production is leaving no stone unturned to make their dream project a successful show. The show has Balaji actress Kratika Sengar playing the lead Rani Lakhsmi Bai. As per the latest development, the production house has signed on veteran actress and producer Aroona Irani.

According to an industry source, “Aroonaji has been approached for the character of Vahini Sahiba and she has agreed to do it. Incidentally, actress Rohini Hattangidy was approached for the same role but she couldn’t take it up on personal grounds.”
