 Mumbai: Popular Indian channel Colors is coming up with a reality show by August-end, which is based on Argentinian combat format and is titled 100% Lucha.
The show is termed as 100% for Indian viewers, which is a fusion between fiction and non-fiction and is owned by Endemol.
According to the industry sources, WWE fighters will be involved in the show. A popular name doing the rounds is The Great Khali (Dalip Singh Rana), WWEs Indian superstar.
The show 100% Lucha will have 13 combat fighters and it will be shot in South Africa. The source added, “It will have a mix of scripted and non-scripted format where reality ends and drama begins.”
The show originally premiered in Argentina on January 1, 2006, as a bi-yearly kids entertainment show. But the successfully ratings of the show started adapting many elements from WWE to widen the target audience.
