Shimla: US-based Best Western International, one of the leading hospitality players in India, has inaugurated its first International Hotel Best Western Royal Park brand at Baddi in the Solan district of Himachal Pradesh.
This new hotel with about 51 keys is spread across 2.5 acres. The company is planning to become the largest chain of hotels in the country.
At the launch, S. Sinha, President and COO, Best Western India, said, “It is a great opportunity for both, the Best Western India Group and Royal Park to offer its high quality of service and hospitality for which the Group is known the world over. The reason for Best Western India and Royal Park joining hands in Baddi is the potential of high occupancy of this industrial township and an opportunity to offer the international experience to its mainly industrial clientele.”
B.B. Patel, co-chairman and co-founder of Cabana Hotels, who has also been Governor of Best Western International for 20 years, said, “Best Western has been keenly looking at the burgeoning Indian hospitality market and our plans of adding 10,000 rooms get further fructified with the addition of each new operational hotel in all leisure and business districts of India.”
