| Hyderabad Metropolitan water board starts sale of canned water |

The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) has commenced commercial trade of canned water.
In the beginning, the board will confine the sale to government offices and institutions. On Tuesday, the board`s managing director G Ashok Kumar inaugurated `Metro Water` at the Asifnagar filter bed. Each can contains 20 litres of water and is priced at Rs 40, and can be used for a month-and-a-half. Branded water like Bisleri is sold at Rs 70 for a can of 20 litres.

| FDA seizes forged energy drinks of Rs 8 crore from Mumbai & Pune |

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) officials have seized huge stocks of three leading brands of energy drinks, collectively valued at Rs 8.14 crore, from Mumbai and Pune.
Most of these drinks are sold in pubs and bars. Godowns storing these drinks are being raided and stocks sealed.
