Airlines reimburse full fare to passengers not flying to Mumbai |
|
|
Jet Airways and SpiceJet have returned the full fare to the passengers unwilling to fly into and out of Mumbai due to the terror attacks since Wednesday night.
A SpiceJet Airlines spokesperson said, "Passengers who have not been able to fly into or out of Mumbai or don`t want to fly there due to the disturbance prevailing in the city can get their fares refunded without any deductions. This waiver is applicable only till Friday."
Air India and Kingfisher Airlines have not made similar offers. Airlines refund fares to passengers only after deducting cancellation charges under normal circumstances
Domestic flights to and out of Mumbai operated as per schedule, but several airlines clubbed flights as many passengers chose not to fly. Some international airlines cancelled their services to and from the terror-hit city.
