The giant electronics device maker companies in the world, Acer has recently introduced the first ever 24-inch full high-definition widescreen LCD monitor of the world, in the market. The company officials have stated that the new monitor is coming with a 1080p resolution and 16:9 ratio and it is also a full HD monitor that is specially designed for the consumers who require exceptional multimedia performance.
The company has released an official statement while introducing the new monitor and said, "The Acer P244W supports real 1080p content playback, pixel by pixel, without loss of image quality". The statement added that the company has designed the monitor for those who have the need of exceptional multimedia performance with intense graphics and superb video. The statement informed that the company is actually targeting the users like gamers, designers and home-theater enthusiasts, for the new monitor.
While talking about the most important and salient features of the newly introduced Acer P244W LCD monitor, one of the top officials of the company has stated that the monitor is capable of supporting a contrast ratio of up to 20,000:1. The official added that the company has made the adjustments with a focus at the input image directly, for producing ultra-sharp images. The official also said that the new monitor is having a rapid response time up to 2 ms gray-to-gray and this response time is easily permitting immersive graphics and video display. However, the company has not made any announcement regarding the price or availability of the new Acer P244W LCD monitor in the market, yet.
