ING Vysya Life Entering Micro-Insurance Soon |

The major private insurance provider company in India, ING Vysya Life, has recently made an announcement and said that it is planning to enter the micro-insurance sector in India, very soon. The officials of the company have stated that the company has already filed its application for the product with the Insurance Regulatory Development Authority (IRDA) and it is waiting for its approval to launch the product, at the moment.
While talking about the company`s plans regarding entering the micro-insurance sector in India, the Regional Vice-President, ING Vysya Life, Mr. Syed Sarfraz Ahmed said, "We have filed for the product and waiting for the approval of the regulator". He said that the company was actually intending to launch the product in the month of January this year. He added that the company could not do so as the company has not received the approval of the insurance regulator for the product till now. However, he did not agree to say anything about the exact timing of the launching of the product and hence did not give any specific time frame for the product launching.
