Rajesh Khattar To Appear In Sharpe`s Peril Soon |

The well-known actor in the Indian television industry, Rajesh Khattar is getting ready to appear in a popular international television mini-series named the Sharpe`s Peril soon. The sources related to Rajesh have informed that the actor has been selected to play a role in the series that is being directed by the renowned British director Tom Clegg and Rajesh will play a part in the latest episode of the series. The episode also features the actor Sean Bean, who has earned a lot of recognition for giving a brilliant performance in the film named, Lord of the Rings.
According to the industry sources, the Sharpe`s Peril is being considered among the most popular of British productions at the moment and it has a total viewership of more than 20 million in the UK and USA. The story of this television drama revolves around a fictional British soldier in the Napoleonic Wars, named Richard Sharpe. While commenting on his the character that he is playing in the television drama, the excited Rajesh Khattar said, "I enact the character of South Indian officer Pillai in the East India Company". He added that the famous Bollywood actress, Nandana Sen is also taking an important part in the same project.
Rajesh Khattar was also talking about his getting chance to act in Sharpe`s Peril and said, "It came as a huge surprise. The casting director came to India, and through recommendations, I was contacted, and two auditions later, I was selected". He added that he is now eagerly waiting for the shooting to start in Khajorao on 3rd March and the shooting will continue for a long seven weeks. Rajesh Khattar was also talking about his other upcoming projects and said, "At the moment, I have a bouquet of roles - positive, negative, comical; I couldn`t have asked for more! And now Sharpe`s Peril... this is like the icing on the cake!". So, it seems that the career of Rajesh Khattar has taken just the right way and acting in Sharpe`s Peril would definitely help him a lot in future.
