Mallika To Play Saraswati In The Aquarian Gospel |

The sensational actress of the Bollywood industry, Mallika Sherawat is going to play the role of Saraswati in her second Hollywood venture soon. The sources from the industry have informed that the film is named The Aquarian Gospel and it is based on the epic story of Jesus Christ`s missing years. The sources said that the story of the film would depict the journey of Jesus from Israel through India, Tibet, Persia, Greece and Egypt, as a boy of 13. The film will also describe how Jesus encountered people of all creeds, classes and faiths, and also the world`s greatest saints and sages, as a young man of 30, just before he becomes a prophet.
According to the sources, Mallika Sherawat will be playing an important role when Jesus comes to India in the film. She will play the role of a celibate yogini (brahmacharini) named Saraswati and Yeshua (Jesus) will be seen to bond with her on his journey through India in the film. The sources related to the production house of the film have stated that the director and the producers have decided to begin casting from the East, as a large part of the film is set in India. The sources also said that the producers are really excited to have Mallika Sherawat as a part of their project. When contacted, the director of the film from Australia, Drew Heriot was also looking quite excited and said, "Mallika is not just a pretty face, she is versatile, has a background in philosophy and will be able to convey the richness of the subject".
The actress, Mallika Sherawat was also contacted and requested to make some comments on the issue and she said excitedly, "I love the personality of the character and feel that it will be a terrific challenge to bring Saraswati to life". Mallika added, "I find that in most mythological and spiritual films, women seem to be lacking any true wisdom or a sense of humour. I look forward to bringing both of those qualities to this character". The script of The Aquarian Gospel is being written by John F Sullivan and William Sees Keenan and they said that they got inspiration from the best-selling book "The Unknown Life of Jesus Christ" (1898) by Russian anthropologist Nicholas Notovich, while writing the script. They also said that the other books like "A journey to Tibet" by Notovich that discovered the ancient scrolls describing the missing years of the life of Jesus and "The Aquarian Gospel of Jesus the Christ" (1908) by evangelical preacher Levi Dowling. So, it is definitely going to be a huge film for Mallika Sherawat and her fans would also love to see her be successful while playing the role of Saraswati in this film.
