Lilette Dubey Won Best Actress Award In Madrid |

The actress who has done some wonderful jobs in her previous films and earned a lot of appreciations for the wonderful acting skills, Lilette Dubey has recently won the Best Actress award in the Madrid International Film Festival. The festival concluded in the last week and Lilette was selected as the best actress for her wonderful performance in the film named Bow Barracks Forever by Pritish Nandy. The industry sources have informed that the film was directed by famous director Anjan Dutt and Lilette is quite happy receiving the award.
The actress, Lilette Dubey appeared on the big screen in the recent film named My Name Is Anthony Gonsalves for the last time so far and she is soon going to be seen in a number films. Informing that she got the news from the director of Bow Barracks Forever, Anjan Dutt, Lilette Dubey said, "He broke the news to me from Madrid, but there was such a din, I couldn`t follow a word he was saying". Lilette has played the role of a hyper-strung Anglo-Indian woman in the film that is based on the community in Kolkata. She added, "I`m also honoured because I was nominated alongside one of my favourite actresses, Joan Allen. I`ve reached an age and stage in my career where I`ve lost all vanity about my looks and just need to find the right characters to play".
While talking about her present assignments, Lilette Dubey said that there are a number of films that she is doing at the moment. She said, "I play Tabu`s mother in Ravi Chopra`s Banda Yeh Bindaas Hai which was so much fun because I got to share screen space with Govinda. Then I went to the US and did a diaspora film Bollywood Beats in which I co-star with another favourite, Sarita Joshi. And, In God We Trust To Hell With Humans I`ve Naseerbhai, Pankaj Kapoor and Deepti Naval as co-stars". She continued to talk about her other films that are coming soon and said, "I`m also doing a film with Ram Gopal Varma called Phoonk. It`s a lot of work and very versatile roles. Coming from the stage, where an actor can do anything, cinema is by its very nature self-limiting. But it`s so important for any professional to look beyond the immediate comfort zone". So, it seems that the acting career of Lilette Dubey is really going great at the moment and she will definitely hope this runs to continue for long.
