53rd Fair One Filmfare Award Ceremony Organised In Mumbai |

The 53rd Fair One Filmfare Awards has been presented to the awardees in a glittering event on 23rd February in Mumbai. The event was organised in the premises of the Yashraj Studios and almost all the superstars of the Bollywood film industry were present there on the occasion. The famous superstars like Neil Nitin Mukesh, Vivek Oberoi, Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar and Deepika Padukone put the stage on fire with their wonderful and glittering performances in the evening.
The awards function was dominated by the super hit films like Taare Zameen Par, Chak De! India and Om Shanti Om. The directorial debut of Aamir Khan, Taare Zameen Par created a huge impression on the critics and the audience as it won 5 awards in the ceremony. The film won the Best Film Award and also the award for Best Director for Aamir Khan. Apart from that, the child artist in the film, Darsheel Safari won the critics award in the Best Actor category.
One of the most popular actors in the Bollywood film industry, Shah Rukh Khan won the Best Actor (Male) award for his wonderful and brilliant performance in the film named Chak De! India. The award for Best Actor (Female) went to the sizzling Kareena Kapoor for the film named Jab We Met. The son of Rishi Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor won the award for Best Debutant (Male) for the film Saawariyaa and Deepika Padukone won the Best Debutant (Female) award for the film named Om Shanti Om. The famous actors like Irfan Khan and Konkona Sensharma also won awards in this 53rd Fair One Filmfare Awards ceremony and they won the awards for Best Actor (Male) and Best Actor (Female) in a supporting role, respectively. The ace actor of the Bollywood film industry, Rishi Kapoor was presented the Lifetime Achievement Award for his wonderful and brilliant contribution to the Indian cinema for a long period of over three decades.
Among the other awardees of the 53rd Fair One Filmfare Awards, there was the melodious singer Shreya Ghoshal, who own the award for Best playback singer (Female) for the song titled `Barso re megha
` from the film Guru. The other wonderful singer, Shaan won the award for Best playback singer (Male) for the wonderful melodious song titled `Jab se tere naina...` from the films Saawariyaa. The veteran choreographer Saroj Khan won the Best Choreography award for directing the song named `Barso re megha
` from the film Guru. The award function was hosted by the superstars of Bollywood like Shah Rukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan. The organisers of the award ceremony have stated that the Indian TV viewers will be watching all the actions of the evening on 2nd March in the Sony Entertainment television.
