Ford Coming With New Fiesta Soon |

The world famous automobile company, Ford Motors Co has recently announced that it is planning to introduce a new model of the Fiesta car at the upcoming Geneva motor show. The company officials have informed that the new model of Fiesta is bringing the styling ideas from the Verve concept car series that was seen at the last Frankfurt, Guangzhou and Detroit auto shows to production. They also said that the Fiesta is the first product to come from the global product development process of Ford and it will include region-specific versions for each of the markets.
While talking about the design of the new model of Fiesta, one of the top officials of Ford said that the company has kept the dimensions of this Fiesta nearly identical to its predecessor. However, the car is coming with a lesser weight and the company has also used high-strength steel for the Fiesta`s A- and B-pillars. This use of steel has reduced the weight and increased the body rigidity for better handling and safety, simultaneously. The official added that the interior of Fiesta carries over Verve`s mobile phone-inspired dashboard design and the features include the push-button start, USB audio ports, ambient lighting and a capless fuel filler system.
The official was also talking about the other main features of the new model of Fiesta and said that there will be five engines available in Europe. Three of them are gasoline and the rest of the two are diesel units. The most important thing about the gasoline engine is that it is a new 1.6-liter four-cylinder rated at 113 horsepower. The diesel engines are two 1.4- and 1.6-liter engines and they include the updated injection systems. The official further said that the company would launch the Fiesta three- and five-door models in the European market in fall.
