Chivas Fashion Tour Started From Mumbai And Will End In Dubai |

There is a new type of world fashion tour started in the city of Mumbai, India very recently and the organiser of the tour is the very popular and leading premium brand of the world, the Chivas Regal. According to the industry sources, the company has brought 12 of the leading fashion designers of India together in order to accomplish the world tour properly. After the start, the tour is going to travel to four more prominent cities of the world and it is scheduled to end on November 23rd in Dubai. The ITC Maratha, Sahar to organise the Mumbai leg of the Chivas Fashion Tour, are associating the brand.
The industry sources are also informing that the Indian designers who are featuring in this Mumbai edition of the Chivas Fashion Tour are named as Ashish Soni, CUE- Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna, Malini Ramani, Manish Arora, Narendra Kumar, Neeta Lulla, Raghavendra Rathore, Rocky S, Shantanu & Nikhil, Tarun Tahiliani, Vikram Phadnis and also Wendell Rodricks. While talking about the tour and also about their association with the Chivas Regal brand, the VP-Marketing of Pernod Ricard India, Mr. Bikram Basu said, "Chivas is a global premium lifestyle brand, and its association with fashion in India will be mutually beneficial".
Mr. Basu was also talking about the opportunities that the Indian designers are going to get from the Chivas Fashion Tour and commented, "Designers will have an opportunity to touch consumers across key cities in the country and overseas`. Chivas in Fashion has in the last six months gained momentum with initiatives at the India Fashion Week, and support to designers at the New York Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week". He also informed that the designers like Tarun Tahiliani, Narendra Kumar, Wendell Rodricks, Malini Ramani, CUE, Ashish n Soni, Rocky S, Raghavendra Rathore, Vikram Phadnis, Shantanu and Nikhil and Neeta Lulla have already showcased their respective creative collections over three days from October 5-7, 2007 at the ITC Maratha, Sahar in Mumbai. The ITC Maratha is having quite a long-standing association with the field of Fashion and also with the brand of Chivas.
