SRPL to open 25 more Mainland China outlets

Speciality Restaurants Pvt. Ltd (SRPL), the multibrand restaurants group is planning to launch 25 more restaurants of their signature brand Mainland China, the authentic Chinese cuisine restaurant chain all over India.

According to a senior company official, out of the 25 restaurants to be launched, the company is planning to open four restaurants in Delhi itself.

Speaking about this, Anjan Chatterjee, chairman and MD, SRPL said, "We will invest Rs 250-300 million for setting up 25 Mainland China restaurants across India. After getting overwhelming response from Rajouri Garden section, we are adding four more stores in Delhi."

At present, Mainland China operates 30 restaurants in cities including Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, New Delhi, Guwahati, Kolkata, Pune and Mumbai. It recreates the authentic taste of rich cuisine with dishes from corners and provinces of China. Spicy rich numbers from Canton, simple deliciousness from Hunan, exotic sea food from Shanghai, royal recipes from Beijing blooms on the palate.

Recently, the group launched a new updated format of their restaurant New World Mainland China at DLF Center, Saket, New Delhi providing innovative Chinese cuisine. The cuisine offered there include Tiger Prawns with Olives and Jalapeno Peppers, Wasabi flavoured Mushroom and Chicken Kothe, Grilled Chicken Supreme with Sichuan Fondue, Sea bass fillet with Chillli and Chinese Fennel and other taste and textures which freely evolve around new influences. Further, the group also aims to venture overseas markets as well.

Chatterjee added, "We have opened Mainland China in Bejing. We had plans to foray London, the US and Canada, but right now, the plans are stalled. But we will finalise soon."
