Under the policy, the state government has proposed two mega Health and Heritage Tourism projects, which are likely to attract investments worth Rs 1800 crore to Rs 2000 crore respectively. A health city is proposed to come up on 300 acre near Bengaluru International Airport, which will have super-speciality hospitals for neurology, cardiology, rehabilitation centres for alcohol and drug addicts, ayurveda hospital and hotels.

The health city will be developed in the next two-three years through PPP mode where the state government will act as a facilitator and provide land while investment worth Rs 1000 crore is expected to come from private players.
