66 special trains allotted to Puri on Rath Yatra |

Puri is going to be connected with sixty-six special trains, which will take passengers to the holy place from different corners of Orissa on the occasion of the Rath Yatra this year.
These special trains will run to and from Puri connecting Koraput, Rourkela, Baripada, Keonjhar, Brahmapur, Bhadrak, Angul, Dhenkanal, Paradeep, Bhubaneswar and Khurda Road.
ECoR has made special efforts to connect Koraput, Keonjhar, Baripada and Rourkela with Puri for Rath Yatra for the first time this year. Special trains will also run from Visakhapatnam and Palasa of Andhara Pradesh, Raipur of Chhattisgarh and Khargpur of West Bengal. The schedule of the special trains has already been prepared and the media is helping the masses know about them.
Special trains are being planned not only for Gundicha Yatra day but also for Sandhya Darshan, Sunabesha and Bahuda Days.
A number of empty coaches are being kept ready at Puri in order to have more trains available for such occasions.
