Virgin Mobile brings vJazz in India for Rs 4500

Virgin Mobile has recently introduced vJazz in the Indian market for Rs 4500. The vJazz mobile handset offers features that have become the hallmark of Virgin mobile in India.

Virgin Mobile India had launched its beautiful Slider vGlide handset in the country earlier this year. The handset was beautiful that offered many features to attract young girls and boys in their teens.

The latest model vJazz comes with a 1GB card that allows users to store huge number of songs. Other features include Music Keys, FM radio, a 1.3 MP camera, Bluetooth, loud speakers and Video playback which can be seen on a reasonably large screen.

The users of vJazz can choose from a wide array of upto 1,00,000 Bollywood, Regional and International chart-busters and download full songs for free for one whole year, said a press release.

The phone is loaded with other features like Music player, Music keys, 1000 SMS and 1000 phonebook storage space, loud speakers, Bluetooth and a large screen, the release added.

M.A. Madhusudan, chief executive officer, Virgin Mobile India said, "Music is at the core of youth culture, bollywood, jazz, hip-hop, rock, alternative, you name it, they know it! Our studies indicate that the existing phones in the market allow youth to carry a small collection of songs."

He added that the music consumption is hindered by the exorbitant cost of downloading full length songs, which is about Rs. 40-45 per song.

Madhusudan further added, "With vJazz, youth can now refresh music 24/ 7 by accessing and downloading free unlimited full music tracks, anytime, anywhere with just one touch access to vMusic, the music client in the phone."

The brand is India`s `first` national youth-focused mobile service and its services are being offered to the Indian consumers by Tata Teleservices through a brand franchise with Virgin Mobile.
