Samsung India introduces environment friendly LED TVs |

Samsung India has introduced environment friendly high quality LED TVs in the country. In recent weeks, the company has launched many products to increase its share substantially in the Indian market.
LED are television sets whose display consists of an LCD with light-emitting diodes as a backlight, as opposed to other LCD TVs, which use fluorescent lamps for a backlight.
These TVs use light emitting diodes (LED) instead of the standard fluorescent lamps to create a brighter and crisper image on a flat panel television. LED TVs allow the manufacturer to build thinner housings making current LED TVs available in the market less than two inches thick.
Samsung LED TVs are more environment friendly than LCD and plasma TVs. These TVs use much less power and use no mercury in their manufacture. Samsung launched three series of LED edge-lit televisions and is at present the only manufacturer in the market.
