Duminy of Mumbai Indians delivers 52 run to beat Knight Riders |

Mumbai Indians has defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by nine-run in their Indian Premier League match at Buffalo Park on Friday with the help of J.P. Duminy`s unbeaten 52 off 37 balls.
Duminy hit four high sixes and a four to push Mumbai to 148 for six after skipper Sachin Tendulkar won the toss and elected to bat. Despite Brad Hodge`s brilliant 73 off 60 balls, Knight Riders could manage only 139 for six in its reply.
Duminy took charge of the proceedings after openers Sanath Jayasuriya (6) and Sachin Tendulkar (34), and Harbhajan (6) were dismissed by Knight Riders within eight overs.
Ashok Dinda took Knight Riders a step further in the fourth over, having Jayasuriya caught by Morne van Wyk. Dinda was in the thick of action again when he caught Harbhajan off Murali Kartik.
Tendulkar smashed Ajit Agarkar for a four and a six in the eighth over before perishing in the same over. Tendulkar`s 30-ball 34 contained two sixes and three fours. At the halfway stage, Mumbai Indians was struggling at 61 for three. Abhishek Nayar followed soon, contributing just 10 before losing his wicket to Hodge.
Graham Napier, who joined Duminy, was dropped by Brendon McCullum off Chris Gayle in the 14th over. The Kolkata skipper, however, made amends to leave Mumbai reeling at 96 for five.
