Owner of Delhi Daredevils` owner may take over Liverpool

The owner of Indian Premiere Leauge G Mallikarjun Rao, Indian billionaire may buy the English Premier League Club Liverpool for a huge amount of 450 million pounds.

Rao owns worth 4.2 billion pounds and is the owner of Indian Premier League cricket team Delhi Daredevils. He is considering a major investment in Liverpool after its co-owner Tom Hicks has approached him for a sponsorship.

According to a source, "The GMR group (owned by 58-year-old Rao) were invited by Hicks and their representative watched the Arsenal match in the directors` box with Hicks` son Tommy. It was quite clear the representative was a fan."

The American co-owners, Hicks and George Gillett, are willing to sell the club for 450 million pounds or invite huge investment to back Liverpool`s re-emergence as a title force.
