Motorola launches its FR Series Mobiles in India

Motorola has launched two FR series mobile computers in India named FR68 and FR6000.

These two strong and compact mobile computers provide operability in a range of local languages and are designed to increase productivity in number of businesses such retail, healthcare, logistics, transportation, utilities, manufacturing and public safety. These devices help mobile workforces to work on business essential enterprise resource platforms as well as access and process business critical data on the go.

These new gadgets come with 3.5G HSDPA/WAN that offer simultaneous voice and high-speed data connectivity and GPS navigation. Moreover, the phones feature a 1D laser scanner, Bluetooth and IrDA. However the Motorola FR68 also features a high resolution 3.2 mega pixel auto-focus color camera and an optical character recognition.

The two mobile computers are powered by Marvell XScale PXA312 624MHZ processor, Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 and are also designed to withstand three foot drops on a concrete floor and are resistant to sand, dust and water.

Motorola will also offer its FR series customer service from the first day of the hardware purchase and no matter whatever damage the device may incur from broken displays and keypads to damages to any internal and external components, the repair is covered while the plan is active.

Motorola launches its FR Series Mobiles in India The FR68 and FR6000 will be available very soon in India through local Motorola PartnerSelect members. The expected price for each of these devices will be in the range of about Rs 70,000 to Rs 1, 00,000.
