Bollywood actor Mukesh Rishi to act in Sony`s Rani Padmini of Chittod |

Bollywood actor Mukesh Rishi is going to play the role of Allah-ud-din Khilji, while newcomer Tejaswini will play the title role in Rani Padmini of Chittod on Sony Television.
Production Designer/Art Director turned Producer Nitin Chandrakant Desai will come with this new historical show titled `Rani Padmini of Chittod` on Sony Entertainment Television.
According to industry sources, "The shoot for the magnum opus show is all set to start on April 18th."
The highlight of the show will be the life of Rani Padmini of Chittod, who later went on to be the pretext for Allah-ud-din Khilji`s attack on Chittod.
The source elaborated, "Mukesh Rishi the very versatile actor who has been part of innumerable Bollywood films has been finalised for the pivotal role of Allah-ud-din Khilji. With his authoritative voice and amazing acting skills, the actor is pitted to be the next biggest villain in Television industry."
The source further added, "Actors to play few other major characters in the show are yet to be finalized. The show will be a daily and will launch sometime in the end of May, though the time slot and date of launch has not been finalized yet."
