NDTV Imagine`s new show Bandini to present Ronit Roy in new avatar

The renowned TV actor Ronit Roy will be seen in a new avatar in the NDTV Imagine`s upcoming show `Bandini`. The show is launching on 19th January at the 10 PM slot.

Earlier, Ronit Roy was seen as Mihir Virani, Mr. Bajaj and also as Bheeshm Pitamah in "Kynki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi", "Kasauti Zindagi Ki" and Ekta Kapoor`s "Kahaani humaaray Mahabharat ki" respectively.

The viewers are now ready to see him in an all-new avatar as Dharamraj Mahiyavanshi in NDTV Imagine`s Bandini.

Informing about his character, Ronit explained, "Dharamraj is a crude man and has no mercy on anyone. The one word he wants to know is `Success`, and does not associate with the word `Failure` at all. It`s a very authentic look."

He further added, "He has always been successful and can go to any extent to achieve what he wants. He lives in a small village which belongs to him."

Speaking about his personality in the show, the actor informed, "When you have power one tends to forget everything, and this is human tendency. Somebody has to come along to bring you back from where you left. That person in my life would be Santu (Aasiya)."

Ronit will be seen in very different attire in the show. On this, he added, "I have only prepared myself for the role of Bheeshm pitama. For Dharamraj, what ever you will see are the inputs given by Ekta. I have taken lots of suggestions too. In the entry when you see me getting down from the car, it is not me but Ekta. She has shaped this character very well, but it took me time to understand and adapt to it."
