New Authentic Chinese Restaurants in Mumbai |
|
|
The string of new Chinese restaurants, which have been opened recently and some of them are about to, have already stirred up Mumbai. They have revolutionized the term "Authentic Chinese" and have started trickling into the city. These Restaurants include the following:
Aromas of China, Andheri
This is the first of all the many other Chinese restaurants that has opened up this year. The menu includes food from all the eight regions of China. The food is far from Indian-Chinese here.
China House, Grand Hyatt, Santacruz
This new eatery features fragrant, piquant and crunchy dishes. In short, it will include an all-Sichuan menu with "character dishes" cooked on six live counters. Since, Indians love the liberal use of fagara or Sichuan peppercorn, this restaurant has a flavour quite similiar to the spices that dominate Indian food.
Nelson Wang`s China Garden, Bandra-Khar
Wang`s CG, which had moved from Kemps Corner to Haji Ali, then back to Kemps Corner is finally opening a branch very soon, also known as "China Garden". Here, the menu is greatly influenced by rural China and hence will include wholesome healthy food. Many of the eateries will include sour chillies and plum sauce, minus unhealthy ingredients like aji-no-moto and vinegar.
VongWong, Nariman Point
This recently opened eatry offers an extensive Chinese and Thai menu, promising a spread of braised, stir-fried, wok-tossed, steamed and grilled preparations. Here, the menu includes food for all! For those, who like more spicy and hot food, there are Sichuan menu and for those looking out for more balanced, round flavour, there is the Cantonese menu.
